Explore great projects from around Myanmar!

This environmental mapping highlights a selection of projects that aim to generate a positive impact on the environment in Myanmar. The purpose of this mapping is not to provide an exhaustive list of all the projects with a positive environmental impact in Myanmar. It is rather to showcase a few good examples, which, if replicated and multiplied throughout the country, would lead to a greener future for Myanmar.

Exploring the map, you will discover projects about resilience to climate change and about forest conservation and mangrove rehabilitation. You will also learn about great initiatives on renewable energies, waste, and water management in industries. You will get to know more about innovative and participative management of protected areas, as well as the importance of indigenous knowledge and sustainable livelihoods for environmental conservation.
