Zun May Oo
Zun May Oo, born in 1999 in Yangon, is a graduate from Yangon University of Foreign Languages (French). Ever since her childhood, she has been fascinated by paintings and love to express her feelings with her art, mainly through animating and painting. She is currently active in this industry as an animation artist with Pencell studio and has participated in several mural painting projects organized by Doh Eain in 2019 and 2020.

While Covid-19 is a serious threat to humanity, I think about the ongoing environmental threat with climate change, loss of biodiversity and much more - something of a whole different scale. And this will only get worse. I wonder who is the culprit and who is the victim for this crisis. Maybe ourselves? Does the Covid-19 crisis show that we are able to wake up altogether? Or does it simply show that humans act only if there is a fatal risk for themselves? This is what I am questioning in my work.
